Reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing A general introduction to whisky. Has some good content. But marred by poor writing, atrocious editing and lack of useful photographs. I wanted to like this Canadian-written, Canadian-produced book, but it really had no business being published. It is astonishing that three people other than the author read the manuscript yet left it in such lousy shape. Whisky newcomers will find better content on the blogs, sadly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great reference or coffee table book My wife gifted this to me after a month of abstaining from sweet, sweet whisky and I couldn't have been more appreciative. A great reference for those like me who are slowly discovering their love of whisky and need a primer, but also a great coffee table book to flip through for the whisky lover. For the person who loves gifting booze, this is also an excellent resource as the author provides lots of food for thought on dozens of whiskies from around the world. A++
