about

It’s Rachel Morgan’s ultimate adventure . . . and anything can happen in this final book in the New York Times bestselling Hollows series.

Rachel Morgan has come a long way from her early days as an inexperienced bounty hunter. She’s faced vampires and werewolves, banshees, witches, and soul-eating demons. She’s crossed worlds, channeled gods, and accepted her place as a day-walking demon. She’s lost friends and lovers and family, and an old enemy has unexpectedly become something much more.

But power demands responsibility, and world-changers must always pay a price. Rachel has known that this day would come—and now it is here.

To save Ivy’s soul and the rest of the living vampires, to keep the demonic ever after and our own world from destruction, Rachel Morgan will risk everything. . . .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SPOILER ALERT !! DON'T READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOK! I'm a sucker for a happy ending and no one deserves one more than Rachel, so thank goodness she gets one. As do Ivy, Jenks and Trent. Fantastic series and as a final book this was stunning. My only caveat was that it tied all things up rather TOO neatly - nothing leftover that wasn't perfect and Rachel most emphatically does not live in a perfect world. Other than that, brilliantly well-done Kim Harrison. Will be reading your future endeavors. So sad to see it end but glad no one important to me was killed. Good-bye Al - I think I'll miss you most of all...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Series The Hollows series is the best series I have ever read! I finished the last book at the beginning of January 2015 and I still haven't been able to pick up another book. I am very sad that there wont be any more adventures but very pleased as to how it was ended. I can't say enough of how awesome this series is, I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing End to a Great Series Absolutely loved this book. I actually randomly found out about this series I was at a chapters store in line to pay when I spotted Pale Demon and read the back cover. After I read it I was sold knowing I had to read the first one...now I own them all and have read them multiple times over. Sad that it had to come to an end.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The finale It's quite difficult when your favourite series ends. You lose the characters, your friends. You've been through so much with them! And even though it's only been an elapsed time of two years for the characters, for many people it has been much longer, perhaps ten years. So there is bound to be some level of disappointment, because no matter how Kim ends it, it's over and that hurts. But it was a class act ending.
