Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Sweet We bought this for our son's baby book and although it's very cute, it's geared towards Americans. There's a page to list current events/notable people and it says President. It would have been nice of it said Prime Minister. We ended up crossing out the word President, which is fine, but not ideal.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful but not for Canadians I do love the illustrations in this ba y book along with the words it flows really well. My only problem with it is there is a page to list current events from the year your baby was born and it asks who the president is. I was really hoping it would be adapted for Canadian babies as it is sold in Canada but it is not. So your options are your tear out the page, criss out "president" and put "prime minister" or return it. Haven't decided yet what I will do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully Beautiful This is definatly a baby book that beats out all others! the illustrations in this book can no be comapred to! I find just looking at this book very relaxing and calming, its everything you could hope to pass along to yoru child when he or she grows up. it has all the traditional things to fill in along with some others like the popular music, or who was the president. etc the book that goes along with it "on the night you were born" is also a great find for any new parents! i've enjoyed these both very much.

Read from the Book

On the night you were born,
the moon smiled with such wonder
that the stars peeked in to see you
and the night wind whispered,
"Life will never be the same."

Because there had never
been anyone like you . . .
ever in the world.
