Rated 3 out of 5 by from Technical and thorough I found this book in a regular bookstore, not in one specialised in textbooks or scientific literature, so I had the impression the essays would be more accessible to the layperson. I found it fun to read, but if I was not already a linguist I don't think I would have understood much.
