Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great book! Want to have an entry point to understanding the work of Lacan, Bourdieu, Saussure, Deleuze, and many other theorists relevant to studies in education? This is the book you want. I'm a student in education, and I'm finding it invaluable. Explanations are fairly readable, but the interesting stuff isn't totally watered down. The language is accessible, but there are a lot of complex ideas to think about. Very satisfying. I recommend it for new graduate students in education.
