Rated 3 out of 5 by from Forever 13 ! *SORRY SPOILER ALERT!* When I read this, I was still waiting to be 13. I guess you could say I read it to prepare myself for the start of my teenage years. Honestly, it helped, even just a little. It prepared me for the changes that I might (and did) face. For example, friend drama, boy troubles, and although I was never invited to a bat mitzvah (did I spell that right?) it prepared me for the kind of things I might expect others to do at various parties *cough cough Cinammon*. Anyways, I don't know if this book will help you the way it helped me (it even encouraged me to donate my hair!) but I'm sure any girl would enjoy reading it! It also really touched my heart (you'll understand when you read it). :) Have fun reading!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is okay! I think this book is good for kids 10-12. But not if they are 9 years of age. So, that is what I think.

The contemporary voice is casual, funny, and well, nice. Fans of Judy Blume will want this. -Booklist
