Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cleo and Sly This changes everything was fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed reading Cleo and Sly's story! It was nice to go slightly off track from the family and including Trixie! I'm so glad she got that opportunity!! Great read, I can't wait to hear more from Gretchen Galway!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great read from Gretchen! I had the pleasure of getting an ARC of this book. If you have never read any of Gretchen's books you have been missing out! If you enjoy reading about real women with real bodies she hits the mark! This is book has two stores within a story. It gives us the story of Trixie who has been trying to set all of her family up for years, and the story of two friends that realize there may be more. I have loved all of her books in her Oakland Hills series, and could not wait for this one. I love a love story that starts with friendship. This one doesn't disappoint!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must read! I was introduced to Gretchen Galway when I found Love Handles under a list of free e-books. I'm a sucker for free e-books and it's a great way to find new (to me) authors. After reading Love Handles I knew I needed to read her other works. Gretchen has an amazing ability to bring her characters to life. She creates heroines who struggle with and overcome body issues, just like every day women. These heroines find confidence and strength to pursue the ultimate goal: happiness and love. And they win! (Sorry, spoiler) And let's not forget the men. Oh, the men - the hunky muscular fitness fanatic, the big beautiful softie at heart, the endearing computer-tech nerd. All different types of men that Gretchen makes readers fall in love with (good luck picking a favorite). I was given the opportunity to receive an Advanced Reader Copy. This was a first for me and was so exciting! I couldn't wait to delve into the new book. The storyline for This Changes Everything instantly became personal to me. Sly and Cleo are longtime friends who ponder whether to the risk of jumping in and becoming more - the same thing that happened with my husband and me. Readers won't be able to help but cheer for Sly and Cleo to become more than friends; hoping they both can overcome their own personal struggles-obstacles to realize what is right in front of them. A secondary character, Trixie, from the previous books makes her appearance and is up to her old matchmaking tricks again. I think it would be interesting if there were a short story about Trixie. Maybe flashbacks from the past mixed with her life now. Gretchen has written another beautiful novel. Another book that is hard to put down. Another book that is sure to leave readers with the best kind of book hangover - the inability to start a new book because they are still caught up in the This Changes Everything. And now we wait (im)patiently for the next book!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from flirty fun fiction If you haven't read any of Gretchen Galway's books you should. This is book 4 in the Oakland Hills series, but if you haven't read the other 3, you won't be lost - it can stand alone. Reading the previous books (which I did after reading this one!) just gives you some character background to the side characters, and a first glimpse at Sly (featured in book 2). This story features Chloe and Sly who are best friends that eventually decide to see if more is better. And that's all I say on that! Great character development - both for the main characters and the side ones (like Trixie!). The story flows, the banter witty, the romance strong. If you are someone who likes romance you will enjoy this book. And likely go back for more of her stories. **disclaimer - I received an advanced reader's copy of this book**
