Rated 4 out of 5 by from Interesting and grotesque. Nikki Sixx - the apple of my mother's eye when she was my age, and my embarrassing "old man" crush. He gives us surprisingly tender glimpses into his troubled relationship with tattoo artist Kat Von D. He bares his soul in equal parts disturbing and beautiful photography, reminiscent of paintings from the Romantic era. Gothic and uplifting, enchanting and depressing. My only critique is that it comes off as cliche at times. Nikki Sixx lets us in to his heart a second time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprising That kind of deep observation and meditation that talks to your inner self. Stuff you never expect to find in a rockstar book. Plus some really twisted pics (That is a quality, believe me).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok read. The book jumped around a bit, but the message albeit good, was shoved down my throat over and over. Then again, maybe that's just what i needed. I feel as Nikki is an old friend who has come and gone my whole life. Very strange.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deep and Interesting I bought this book right from my retail store, instead of online. It was better than I expected it to be! Nikki has such a fascinating and yet twisted mind. He does pour out his soul in his words, and his photography is intriguing, fascinating, and amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Speechless Picking up this book, was the best thing i've ever done. My life has actually changed from reading a book. Finally a book that makes you think, makes you feel beautiful, and makes you re-evaluate life and death. After I read this last month, I've been able to feel confident, and feel like the author is behind me every step of the way. I can already see an improvement in my life. I'll be forever greatful for reading this book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible! Soo amazing. Once I started this book, I knew I wasn't going to stop reading it until I was finished. I read it all in one shot, and it took me about 4 hours. Nikki is a really great author. He has a great outlook on life, and he does an amazing job of sharing it with his readers. The photography in this book is phenomenal as well. It adds a great quality to the book that you don't normally get with other memoirs.
