Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved by kids, and parents can so relate!! Robert Munsch is always guaranteed to entertain the kids and this book certainly doesn't disappoint!! I defy anyone to read this book aloud and not get into character and add in silly voices......that is the beauty of it! Hilarious for kids and any parent who has tried to get their children to wear a snowsuit against their will, can relate to the frustration that we are all too familiar with! A laugh out loud funny classic

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this book! This is one of my favourite books. My mother use to read this book to me when I was a little girl and now I read it to my children in my classroom. We read it when it becomes snowsuit season which gets the children laughing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of Laughs for a Little One Some people find this inappropriate because the teacher and the principal end up wearing each others clothes, but my little guy belly laughs at all of the confusion. He isn't old enough to see it as inappropriate, it is just a funny story!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Miniature Books The book itself is wonderful, a great Robert Munsch classic. Unfortunately I did not scroll down far enough to realize that these were mini books - great for fitting in a pre-school child's hand but not the best for reading aloud

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inappropriate! I read this story once to my son about 4 months ago with his grandma and I never will read it again... it is VERY inappropriate for kids. The story has Thomas and a teacher and a principal undressing each other! My mother-in-law and I were left speechless and needless to say the book was packed away.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What the heck? Why would we applaud such stubborn behaviour? I regret reading this book the second it was over. Teaches children how to be controlling and demanding. Totally inappropriate and not suitable for young minds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Robert Munsch calssic Every child can identify with Thomas -- having to wear something that you absolutely hate. This book is too funny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thomas' Snowsuit My six-year old cousin read this book to his grade one class, and it was a big hit! Great story and illustrations. Understandably, Thomas refuses to wear his ugly brown snowsuit, and even though he's only a little boy, all the adults are unable to change his mind. He even causes the principal to move to Arizona! I'd recommend spending your break reading this short book-it's guaranteed to make you laugh!

Employee Review

Munsch has taken an ordinary situation and infused it with humour. Thomas refuses to wear his snowsuit, even though adults try to convince him to come play. Thomas eventually jumps into his snowsuit, and off he goes. Children love that Thomas, while causing mischief, seems to have complete control of the situation. Any parent of young children will certainly relate to this funny story. As usual with Munsch, this is a great family book.
