about

A New York Times bestseller, Three Wishes is the funny, heartwarming and completely charming first novel from Liane Moriarty, also the author of #1 New York Times bestsellers The Husband’s Secret and Big Little Lies.

Lyn, Cat, and Gemma Kettle, beautiful thirty-three-year-old triplets, seem to attract attention everywhere they go. Together, laughter, drama, and mayhem seem to follow them. But apart, each is dealing with her own share of ups and downs. Lyn has organized her life into one big checklist, Cat has just learned a startling secret about her marriage, and Gemma, who bolts every time a relationship hits the six-month mark, holds out hope for lasting love. In this wise, witty, and hilarious novel, we follow the Kettle sisters through their tumultuous thirty-third year as they deal with sibling rivalry and secrets, revelations and relationships, unfaithful husbands and unthinkable decisions, and the fabulous, frustrating life of forever being part of a trio.

Liane Moriarty is the bestselling author of several novels and the children's books series Space Brigade. Her novel titles include: Three Wishes, The Last Anniversary, What Alice Forgot, The Hypnotist's Love Story, The Husband's Secret, and The Big Little Lies.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enjoyed this ... Just finished reading this book - and if I am being honest, it wasn't nearly as good as 'Big Little Lies'. The story still focused on strong, female characters and included many different twists and turns, but this book was easier to put down. It was still a good, enjoyable read.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love Liane I suppose I've read all of the Liane Moriarty books in a backwards order. This having been her earliest novel, you can tell where most of her ideas for further stories have sparked. Having read quite a few of her books now, there are definitely recurring themes and favourite side-plots. As per usual, it was a quick and entertaining read.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good read I've read a lot of books by Liane Moriarty and I love her work. This story has just enough complexities in it to keep it interesting.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Three Wishes by Liane Moriarty While I'm usually decisive, in this case, I waffled between rating Three Wishes 3 or 4 stars! In thinking about it, I wanted to offer the 4th star more based on how much I like this author -- instead of based on the merits of the book itself. While I was entertained, I didn't feel like this one was quite as wonderful as all of Liane Moriarty's other novels.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from a great debut I read this after reading 4 other Moriarty novels. This was her first. It is not as good as her others, but very readable. I enjoyed it.
