Rated 2 out of 5 by from Somewhat Informative I found this book at a bargain price and decided to pick it up. Overall it has some interesting information, but a lot of it is also crazy vegan talk. The author is a hard core whole, raw food guy. His opinions on diseases are fine, as they are opinions, but there seems to be some misinformation. Example, his belief that cardiovascular disease is totally preventable through diet and exercise. Genetics play a huge part as well, and to totally ignore that is wrong. Obviously the important part is to realize his writing shouldn't be taken for axiom. I did find the section on healthy foods and recipes to be quite interesting and feel that his recipe book would be a better buy.
