This story is about a tiny girl and her wonderful adventures. Thumbelina emerges from the flower and one night a toad carries her off. A toad wants this tiny girl as a bride for her son. But with the help of fish and a butterfly Thumbelina escapes and captures by a stag beetle, but other beetles dislike the little girl. An old filed mouse shelters Thumbelina and suggests her to marry a mole, but Thumbelina doesn't want to marry him because he live underground and never sees the sun and the sky.
