Lara Jean’s love life gets complicated in this New York Times bestselling “lovely, lighthearted romance” (SLJ) from the New York Times bestselling author of The Summer I Turned Pretty series.

What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them…all at once?

Sixteen-year-old Lara Jean Song keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They aren’t love letters that anyone else wrote for her; these are ones she’s written. One for every boy she’s ever loved—five in all. When she writes, she pours out her heart and soul and says all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly, Lara Jean’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best contemporary ya romance! i loved this story! especially because the protagonist is EAST ASIAN! representation matters. this is the perfect book for teens/ya looking for romance novels. it's so cute! (i'm also a diehard for fake dating tropes. i don't care if its the 5th or the 50 thousandth one i've read i will love it nonetheless)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet and Fun! This book is the perfet example of a teen romance novel. Two people who would never have gotten together find themselves in a "fake relationship" that may blossom into something much more special. Each character is well developed. I have read this book twice, and I would even read it again. The whole series is fantasic!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nostalgic and sweet This book gave me butterflies, and made me remember all the embarrassing and sweet things I did in front of my crush. Brought me back to the innocence of love. Read the rest of the series, and am SO excited a movie is being made. Love Jenny Han. A good, good read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OMG! This book was an awesome read for me. I read it in less then 2 days I couldn't put it down! Its funny, relatable, well written and not as childish as I thought it would have been.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside I was hooked on the series from the very first page of the first book. I adored the series.
Date published: 2017-08-28
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved It! I love the book, at first I was kind of skeptical that it would be the same as other teenage books, but it was not. I like the fact that the story is so much different from the dystopian novels that I usually read. It was refreshing to read and there are definitely some parts that made me laugh. The book is definitely worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute and Witty This book caught me completely by surprise. I expected a cute and funny read, but I didn't expect to love it. I didn't expect the way things got in the book, and I didn't expect it would make me question my idea of first love. This book was really amazing, and I would reread it many times over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A MUST READ SERIES This book took the breathe out of me! The book may seem like it's all about Lara Jean's love life but Jenny Han had created such a cute loving family that is always there for Lara Jean. Fun and sweet moments wait at every page!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Literally the BEST book ever!!!!! I read this book last summer and it was literally the best book I've ever read. I'm going to read it again this summer before reading the sequel. Apparently, there is a movie in the works, I don't think it could ever live up to the book though.
Date published: 2017-07-31
Rated 5 out of 5 by from An amazingly light-hearted read I absolutely loved this book. It was so light hearted and fun to read. It will remind everyone what young love feels like and the ups and downs of teenage love. I loved it so much that not only did I read it in 2 days and immediately pick up the second book in the series, but I also included it in my summer reading recommendations on my blog.
Date published: 2017-07-30
Rated 5 out of 5 by from They're making a movie it's that good! This book is such a great summer read. I loved the entire series so much! I read Jenny's other trilogy before reading this one, and I loved this one so much more. It is a great story about sisters and love triangles. It's also nice to see a story about Korean sisters since they are not very popular in today's culture (that I know of). Ps. there is a movie in the works for the trilogy with Janel Parish (Mona from Pretty Little Liars) playing Margot!
Date published: 2017-07-28
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this book so much This book was fluffy and easy to read, but it had a great plot and fun characters
Date published: 2017-07-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So sweet and relatable I think this book has become one of my favourites! It is so quirky and the characters are so lovable, and I couldn't help but see myself in Lara Jean. This is definitely a light and happy book that I can imagine myself reading on the beach side.
Date published: 2017-07-23
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet and Romantic This is the first book of the series by Jenny Han about Lara Jean and her family of sisters and a single father. This book discusses the real feels of being in a relationship with someone from a different race than you. The traditions of each culture can be difficult yet interesting to see and it is also a really fun book that can talk about high school drama , mean friends, and being popular but which all can be dealt with when you have the help of your family. This book is different from romance books and unique in its own way. I think its for the romance lovers and if you're not so much into sweet and girl things this book might still be interesting if you would like to read about relationships in high school and family.
Date published: 2017-07-19
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing I read this book a long time ago and I reread it again recently and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first time! It's not your typical teen romance book and I love that about it! It's a fun and easy read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the cutest ! I had read this book a while ago and I absolutely LOVVVEEE it, its such a cute series though the second book is my favourite! Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for me Not crazy about this one. The main character came off as being really whiny and immature.
Date published: 2017-06-04
Rated 5 out of 5 by from IN LOVE!!! absolutely in love with this book, i couldn't put the book down it was like glued to my hands. in love with the story and how it just flows, would definitely read it over and over again. it just one of those books that you could read over again and not get bored of it. would totally recommend this book to anyone who was looking for a great reading experience. it's definitely a good book to read anywhere you are, you'll get into it really fast and forget where you are and i really love books like this cause it catches my interest very quick and no matter what you do you will not get the book out of my hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was SOOOO addicting! This book was SO GOOD! I read it in two days I was so into it. I deffinetly recommend this book.
Date published: 2017-05-27
Rated 5 out of 5 by from loved it! a perfect summer read. it's light and romanticcc and i'm always a sucker for these types of books (spoiler: fake-dating trope, but it never gets old because i love everyone)
Date published: 2017-05-22
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasant Incredible! I never expected the book to be this addicting. I first found out about this book from a friend of mine, and I never really knew what this is book is about; but I could tell that it was great, as my other friend kept telling me that some of the sentences were very deep. The story is very romantic but also has a comedy genre. I loved how the story's main focus is all about Lara Jeans love life as well as her family. Overall a great book and it's worth the money.
Date published: 2017-05-21
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Addicting I have to say for at least the first 5 chapters i did not like it. The writing style just wasn't or me it felt like she was just listing things she was doing or what her family was like it a very lifeless way. I also despise them constantly saying "daddy" and "mommy." I get why it shouldn't have bothered me but i just hated reading it. BUT! once the story really starts going i got really into it for all it's fluff and teen drama and finished it in a night! I'm really only reading ti for the guys; i want Peter to be in every scene and when he's not it's kind of like "wwhhheennn is peter coommiinnngg!" But i'm off to read the second one now because i'm officially addicted.
Date published: 2017-05-19
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great summer read! At first I thought that I won't like it as much because I am more a fantasy reader... BUT OH MAN! once I started, I just can't stop! It is cute and fluffy, definitely a good summer read! #plumreview

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great summer read If you're looking for something deep and complex then this likely isn't the book for you. HOWEVER, you're looking for a light, heartwarming summer read, I would try this one out. It's the type of book that forces a satisfying little sigh out of you when you close it at the end.
Date published: 2017-05-10
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great light read I really enjoyed the story, very light, playful and fun. It is a great summer beach read, looking forward to reading the other two books in the series.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It was alright I liked this book. I wasn't expecting so much humor, and that threw me off a bit. I didn't appreciate that everything felt fake, and I was so annoyed by the characters at times. But, I loved the strong family element within this story, I can't remember the last time I read a book that was so family centered. You'll definitely enjoy this book if you have sisters. It didn't end the way I was expecting it to, and that was a pleasant surprise.
Date published: 2017-04-16

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute Lara Jean is such an interesting character. I enjoyed reading about not only her but her family as well. The romance is nice too.
Date published: 2017-03-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really sweet I really enjoy this series. It doesn't quite have the same magic as the summer series but is still great
Date published: 2017-03-10
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not great I liked the plot and characters, not my favourite book though.
Date published: 2017-03-09
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great This is a cute story and I will be reading the next ones in the series, but if you have read The Summer I Turned Pretty this may be a bit of a let down. I didn't find it to be overly captivating.
Date published: 2017-03-08
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mixed Feelings I had mixed feelings about this book for the first few chapters. The sentences seemed to be short and juvenile. However as the story started to build I found that I was hooked. I wanted to know more about Lara Jean, Peter K., Joshy and Gogo... I started doing the whole "okay, just one more chapters," and since the chapters were more often then not only a few pages, an hour would be behind me. At the beginning of the novel I didn't think I would continue this series, but now I am waiting patiently for the next one to come in the mail and then the next to be released! Can't wait! I might even have to start "The Summer I Turned Pretty" series while I wait for the third installment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm in love with this book! I bought this gem a while ago and finally had the chance to pick it up and read. It's a beautiful story and it fulfills my thirst of love stories.
Date published: 2017-02-25
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Much Hype I wanted to love this book, I really did, but it fell short of my expectations. I love Jenny Han and "The Summer I Turned Pretty" trilogy is one of my favourites, but this one did not live up to the hype. I love the idea of this book, but it was slow with minimal character development. Because I love the author, I'm going to read the second book. I hope it is more fast paced than this one was.
Date published: 2017-02-25

The love story between the two main characters was fun, cute and quirky! Their conversations were so genuine that you laugh along with them. The sisterly dynamic was flawless and the familial bond that was developed at the start and end of the book was perfect as it comes to a full circle. Truly a fun and quick read!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it love it love it! <i>"If people knew you, they would love you." You know me better than almost anybody, and you don't love me.</i> This book was a cute, light, enjoyable read to start and then things got intense. Lara Jean's experiences and thoughts on love and relationships were very relatable to me. I experienced a dramatic whirlwind of emotions while reading this book and my opinions on some of the characters changed throughout the book. The ending definitely left me wondering about a lot and I'll be excited to dive into the sequel to this book as soon as possible! To end off my review, here's a quote I really liked from the book that really stuck with me. <i>"It's not like in the movies. It's better, because it's real."</i>

Date published: 2017-01-24
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Perfect Light Read A soft coming-of-age story that weaves the love of family and romance into the life of Lara-Jean. Watching as relationships unfold while others hang by a thread, readers follow as she goes through relatable and realistic situations conjured up in the life of a teenager. A pleasant read.
Date published: 2017-01-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I bought this on a whim close to the release date, and I never looked back! Jenny Han once again weaved an amazing story that was romantic, funny, and lovable. I adore this book, and to say that I reread it 4 times in anticipation for the sequel is no exaggeration. You're going to want to buy the second book immediately after finishing this, so save yourself some wait time and just add it to your cart now. You won't be disappointed.
Date published: 2017-01-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it! The romance is pretty cliche, but the way Jenny Han writes it makes it cute instead of cheesy. I thought the relationships were really realistic for people in high school. And I love how Lara Jean has a good relationship with her parents. It's a very refreshing perspective for YA. Not to mention, Lara Jean is a super responsible and talented person.
Date published: 2017-01-09
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the book for me... I can see why people might love this story, but it just wasn't the book for me. I picked it up hoping for a light-hearted romance, but I found the central relationship more annoying than satisfying to read about. The story itself and the pacing were both good, and it isn't a bad read. It's just not the book I was looking for.
Date published: 2017-01-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I read this book numerous times and I have yet to get tired of it. Jenny Han writes the novel in the point of view of Lara Jean and the language and vocabulary choices she made was realistic to a teenage girl. The story line was enticing and it was one of the books you just cannot put down. Overall i bought this book with high expectations because Jenny Han is one of my favorite authors and the book did not disappoint.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A Preteen Read The intended audience is probably for preteens which is why I did not like it that much. There's no depth into the main character or her emotions but it's a cute story to just follow through. I did end up reading the second book just to find out what her life turned into. The main character is very whiney though.. you might hate her just for being so much like a 13 year old.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I tried...... OK, I try soo hard to read this book but I could not pull myself through theses annoying characters which I dislike A LOT. And that saying a lot when I gave up on this book on chapter 8 (page 32) and skimmed through the rest of the book.. The story was just so boring to begin with. Your letters get mailed out and not really everything changes really. Margot is an ass, hated her the moment she was on the page and Lara Jean is well lets just say I felt sorry for her because she holds everything in. I would have just told John I liked him in the first place. Simple. Don't think I would read the rest of the books.

It's definitely a light and easy read and so very worth my sleepless nights!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun, Easy Read! To all the boys I've loved before follows the story of Lara Jean, a high school student whose love letters she wrote to past crushes get sent out mysteriously. Lara must confront all the boys from her past, including her sister’s ex-boyfriend Josh and one of her ex best friends Peter. Lara Jean learns throughout the novel that not all bad things are forever bad when she rekindles friendships and learns to love again. I really enjoyed this novel, as a reader I instantly loved Peter as a character and wanted him to end up with Lara but also instantly fell for Josh. Jenny Han created two male protagonists that most readers would fall in love with because they are two opposite boys but both have the same warm hearts. As they are both stock characters, Peter represents the jock while Josh represents the nice guy. Kitty was absolutely hilarious; she was so relatable since I also have a younger sibling. She was one of my favorite characters while Margot, to me personally had no real effect. Margot was just another character although she was necessary. Mr. Covey was a really nice, warm character and as a reader I hope in the sequel he finds somebody. Chris and Genevieve were odd characters in my opinion, they were so similar yet so different. At times, they just annoyed me but I couldn’t see the novel without them. Overall at the beginning, I thought I was going to have to push myself to finish this novel but a quarter of the way through I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend this novel to anyone since it touches as a child everyone’s fear of their crush finding out and a struggle everyone deals with, whether to fall in love or not and if it is with the right person.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So cute! This book was a cute, light, enjoyable read to start and then things got intense.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this! I normally don't like romcom-style books, and when I do read them, I am not drawn to it. This book, however, has done the impossible: I love this to bits, and I was so drawn to the universe of Lara Jean and Peter, that when this book ended, I found myself wanting more, and asking questions -- many, many questions. This is an absolutely amazing book!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Fake Relationship Trope Book! I originally was not going to read this book. The blurb did not sound interesting to me because it sounded super predictable (which it was). But it was $1.99 on Kobo so I said what the hell. I was genuinely surprised at how much I liked this. Lara Jean was a static character, but I have a craving for fake relationship novels. Those are my go-to fics and this one was perfect. I love the build up of them! From the "we are just doing this to make someone else jealous" to the "oh shit I think I like you" to the "oh no you don't like me so I am going to call this off" to the "oh we both actuallylike each other and are idiots". But in all honesty, I liked it so much because of Peter Kavinsky. He played his part perfectly and I would love to read this story from his point of view. I wasn't a fan of the sister relationship in this one, it felt forced and awkward. Their "blow up" and subsequent make up at the end was a little ridiculous to me, to be honest. It seemed like the author was just looking for another way to isolate Lara Jean before she had a realization about what she should actually be doing with her life. I feel like there wasn't enough character development of her sister to have it be such a big deal that Lara Jean and her were fighting over a guy. It didn't seem to fit into their relationship as it was explained in the novel. If you don't like cheesy, super predictable, contemporary young adult novels, you will hate this. But if you love fake relationship stories as much as me, this is one you should pick up for sure. Overall: 4/5 stars because of Peter Kavinsky and my favourite trope in the world: fake relationships.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING! This is tied for my favourite book with the sequel! Both were amazing the story really comes to life and the characters although all have their set of flaws are amazing and bubbly and just lovable. I feel that Jenny Han hit the nail on the head with this book!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun, quick read Wow! I couldn't put it down! Jenny Han's writing sucks you in and doesn't let go. I really loved how you can try and figure out what is happening but it's not always what actually happens! And the ending, I don't know how I feel. I was shocked when I found out who sent the letters, I was not thinking it would be who it was! And I don't know I don't now if she is making the right choice with who she is falling for. Overall, it was really good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast Paced Read! Jenny Han never seizes to amaze me with her fantastic writing, romance scenes and even love triangles. I devoured To All the Boy's I've Loved Before. I have read the Summer series which I loved as well, but this book was perfection in one book. The book sounds like its more about the romance but Han with her amazing writing to include Lara Jean relationships with her family, and friendships with her sisters. The Song girls throughout the entire book really have this bond between them. Margot, Kitty and Lara Jean have this strong relationship that it makes me wish I was closer with my sister. Their bonds are tested through their ups and downs but their are so many moments that even though they have arguments they still manage to overcome it and become even closer. Han delivers each character as though they are real and easy to relate to. The situations that Lara Jean has to face was funny and also embarrassing but she sticks it out to prove everyone wrong. Kitty is a great character because she can put her sisters in place at times, and with her temper. Josh and Peter (or all the boys) in the letters I really loved each of them. I didn't want the book to end because I got so involved in the story! Overall, I loved this book from the moment I started reading it because Jenny Han knows her audience well and also try to beg for the next book. The character development is growing as you get to know Lara Jean and her family/friends. Everything about this book made me giddy inside. I'm looking forward to what the next book will have in store because this world gives all the happy feels and I need to know what will happen next! Pick up any of Jenny Han books and be guaranteed a great read!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from To All the Boys I've Loved Before I was looking for something a little different to read from my normal genres and this book fit the bill perfectly. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed all the characters and dialogue between them. Being a father of 2 kids under 10 years old, I can't wait to recommend this book to them when they hit puberty!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Teen Read Great easy read. The struggle between choosing loves at a high school level is always turned up a notch in the eyes of a teenager. Han writes in first person and at a level that is believable for the narrator, which is basically an emotional roller coaster. I liked how it not only touches upon love interests, but family and friends as well, whilst going through the changes on experiences growing up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An ok teen read I heard about this book through Lauren Conrad's Book Club. Seeing as how she is my age (29), i expected something more age-appropriate for the twenty - something crowd... this is a teen book, and not a really great one at that. If you're 12-18 years old, go for it. If youre not, id

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light, funny, quirky, amazing! 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before' was outstanding! I wasn't sure what to expect of this contemporary, but I am wowed. This is my first Jenny Han book, but it won't be the last! It's beautifully written, easy to follow, and so, so cute! I adore the main character Lara (other than her first name). Her sisters, especially her younger sister Kitty, are also, amazing characters! Really, all the characters are dimensional, loveable and enjoyable. You'll be smiling a little on every page! Laughing every chapter, at LEAST. It's funny and light, and Lara is quirky in such an admirable way. Her family background, childhood, and story in general is quite magnificent. Of course, Peter Kavinsky is my favourite. Josh is pretty amazing also. It was really hard to tell who she'd like more. My only wish is that Lara interacted more with "all the boys she's loved before" instead of only two. Of the five boys, two were main characters, two were only really mentioned/talked to a couple of times, and the fifth one is never actually seen. It seemed like two of the five were favoured from the beginning, and I think it would've been interesting if the three other boys were equally as interesting and paid attention to. This is one of the reasons I'm rating the book a 4 and not a 5. The second reason is that the story (other than Josh vs Peter) is very predictable. HOW did the letters get out? I figured it out right away. Actually, there wasn't really any "figuring out" to do. It was very obvious to me. So obvious that I was hoping Jenny Han was purposely misleading me. She wasn't. Overall though, it's a great read! It's light, funny, easy and it seems really short. But that's how you know that it's good. Good books always seem too short. You'll love the characters! I'm looking forward to the second book, 'P.S. I still love you". Many people were terrified that there was not going to be a sequel, but I was perfectly fine with the ending of 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before'. I think that major cliffhanger would've been a good, final ending. It's very movie-like, and open-ended. I like that. I had the same feeling about 'If I Stay' which was also followed by a sequel. I'm not complaining about 'P.S. I Still Love You' though, because even if the story brings disappointment, I'd love to see more of and hear from the characters again!
