The latest groundbreaking tome from Tim Ferriss, the #1 New York Times best-selling author of The 4-Hour Workweek .

From the author:

For the last two years, I've interviewed more than 200 world-class performers for my podcast, The Tim Ferriss Show. The guests range from super celebs (Jamie Foxx, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc.) and athletes (icons of powerlifting, gymnastics, surfing, etc.) to legendary Special Operations commanders and black-market biochemists. For most of my guests, it's the first time they've agreed to a two-to-three-hour interview. This unusual depth has helped make The Tim Ferriss Show the first business/interview podcast to pass 100 million downloads.

"This book contains the distilled tools, tactics, and 'inside baseball' you won't find anywhere else. It also includes new tips from past guests, and life lessons from new 'guests' you haven't met.

"What makes the show different is a relentless focus on actionable details. This is reflected in the questions. For example: What do these people do in the first sixty minutes of each morning? What do their workout routines look like, and why? What books have they gifted most to other people? What are the biggest wastes of time for novices in their field? What supplements do they take on a daily basis?

"I don't view myself as an interviewer. I view myself as an experimenter. If I can't test something and replicate results in the messy reality of everyday life, I'm not interested.

"Everything within these pages has been vetted, explored, and applied to my own life in some fashion. I've used dozens of the tactics and philosophies in high-stakes negotiations, high-risk environments, or large business dealings. The lessons have made me millions of dollars and saved me years of wasted effort and frustration.

"I created this book, my ultimate notebook of high-leverage tools, for myself. It's changed my life, and I hope the same for you."
TIM FERRISS has been called a cross between Jack Welch and a Buddhist monk" by The New York Times . He is one of Fast Company 's "Most Innovative Business People" and an early-stage tech investor/advisor in Uber, Facebook, Twitter, Shopify, Duolingo, Alibaba, and 50+ other companies. He is also the author of four #1 New York Times and...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential Practical Use Plenty of practical info to implement and use for every day life. There are sections that may seem irrelevant at the time but have become important or of interest at a later date. Definitely an essential for the renaissance person or someone who wants to make positive change in their lives.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Little Pearls of Wisdom I am an avid listener to Tim Ferriss' pod cast and this book is a really good quick reference to the guests on the show. It is a collection of the most interesting facts (according to Tim) from each of them. If you listen to the show you have a lot of ...oh yes I remember this and I remember that. My favourite part is the list of recommended books which is basically now my wish list here. Enjoy the book and definitely listen to the podcast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So good, I decided to buy I borrowed this from my public library, and didn't have enough time to get through it all. The information was fantastic, though, and something I know I'll want to revisit, so I decided to buy it. I've listened to Tim's Podcast for a long time, and this book is fantastic at distilling the wealth of audio information he's put out there. Easy to consume in bite size pieces, or in large chunks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it! I bought this book because it had been recommended to me. Almost gave up after the first 150 pages ( didn't find the first section interesting at all) but was glad I kept going. I found the rest of the book fascinating and keep picking it up to reread many of the sections. something for everybody.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Surprised by this Book I bought this book thinking it was going to be a purely business related book. I was a little taken back by all the fitness, medical and other advice, however I did find that with an open mind a lot of the personal goals can be applied easily to a business perspective!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A handy book to have around. This book is full of knowledge from many of the top elites in the health and wealth industry. So much wisdom in this book, it's bound to have something in it for anyone who wishes to evolve in any aspect of their life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from book of tools that i have adopted I like how the book is structured in the sense that you can only read the parts you need and the extra links are provided on all parts on the book so things still make sense. The book taught me very effective time management skills and shown me computer software that improves work flow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Idea Book This book is divided into 3 sections: healthy, wealthy, wise. Each section he gives a brief summary of the "titan" and what they have accomplished and their tips. Some of these individuals have been profiled on his shows and podcasts. Although the book is huge since it is broken down into a few pages attributed to each titan, it does not feel arduous to read it. Plus you can easily skip around since you don't have to read it in chronological order. Some things that the author has tried I would never do such as fasting for days at a time. But there are enough tips and ideas for everyone in this book to be a worthwhile read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, interactive read This book looks daunting at almost 700 pages, but it's split into three sections (Healthy, Wealthy, & Wise.) It's fun to jump sections depending on what inspiration I'm seeking. I'm an avid TF podcast listener and it's very helpful to have all of the podcast episodes condensed down in an easy reference manual.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Gift. Potentially Life Changing Book. I am an avid Tim Ferriss podcast listener and was excited for this book. It takes the best of the best from his 200+ podcasts and does so in a way that's very easy to read. Easy in the sense that if a certain chapter or section does not click with you, you can easily move on to another one. There are countless tools in here that could trigger a change in one's life. I have been applying many of the lessons I have learned from Tim's podcast for over a year, but after reading this book, I've already added 3 or 4 more to the list. Finally, I recommended many friends get this for Christmas gifts to others and no one has been disappointed. If you are looking for a gift for someone - this is perfect. Just make sure you buy yourself one too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was nice I read it all the way through like Tim Ferriss said not to do. But I put a tab on the parts that i am going to revisit. There is a lot of valuable information in this book if you are willing to apply it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If You Enjoyed "The 4 Hour Workweek," You'll Love This Book An excellent book collecting wisdom from 100+ leading artists, entrepreneurs, actors and more. If you loved the Tim Ferriss Show podcast, you'll like the book. It's more than a "transcript" of the podcast though. Each profile segment is edited and annotated for the best insights. There are also additional essays (e.g. "5 Morning Rituals that Help Me Win The Day", "Jar of Awesome" and "How to Create a Real-World MBA" are some of my favorites). The end of the book presents lists of the interviewees favorite books, documentaries and movies. The chapter 'Testing the Impossible': 17 Questions That Changed My Life" is also outstanding. As a fan of "The 4 Hour Workweek," I was somewhat disappointed that there wasn't more substantial business material. There are great business pieces here and there (e.g. "Hacking Kickstarter" and "The Law of Category") but I would have liked greater depth in those areas. In any case, it was an excellent book and I was excited to read and explore it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You want to talk about expertise? Ferriss has taken thousands of hours of interviews, podcasts, and knowledge and boiled it down into this book. Some of the people he has talked to have their own chapters while other information is in segments that have common links to many of his guests. There is so much insightful information in this tome I cannot wait to re-read it over and over again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Meaning of Life, the Universe and Everything... Tools of Titans is a phenomenal reference manual that distills the most valuable tips and tricks from Tim and all of his incredible guests. Having listened to 95%+ of Tims podcasts (and relistened to several a few times now), I have been meaning to go back through many of the show notes to pull out specific details to follow up on. Much, if not all, of that is now done for me - lists of the top rated books, recipes, specific protocols, etc. are now at my fingertips. Not to mention the additional content, not included in the podcast or blog response Q&A's, that provides further actionable insight, details and rationale. And if you are completely new to Tim's work it provides both a concentrated summary of all his great advice and a Quick Notes version of his podcasts so you can bookmark the ones you will want to listen to first (I highly recommend Derek Sivers). I have all of Tims books - the value of his work far outweighs the cost. Just buy it!
