NIAMH GAYNOR is director of a research capacity building project linking nine universities in Ireland with four in Africa and is based at Dublin City University, Ireland. She previously worked for a number of years in Bnin and then as a freelance researcher with NGOs and community groups in both Ireland and Africa.
