SUSAN STREHLE is Professor of English at Binghamton University. She is the author of Fiction in the Quantum Universe and co-editor of Doubled Plots: Romance and History. She has published essays on contemporary American and global fiction in journals including Critique, Contemporary Literature and Modern Fiction Studies.
