Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money. While I loved the Twilight series and The Host this book is definetly not Stephenie Meyer's best effort. At first I thought 'cute concept, him being the human' but that quickly changed to dissapointment as the book progressed. There was none of the excitement or humour that the first book had, no snappy rapport between the main characters. The horrible choice of names, I could barely pronounce them which actually made it difficult to warm up too or even like the characters! I won't spoil it for anyone who is looking forward to reading it but be warned it will not end the way you was for me personally a huge let down. All of her other books were hard to put down, this one I had to force myself to keep reading. I kept hoping it would get better, it didn't. It's a good job this wasn't her first book or there would never have been another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Twilight etc I read these novels as an adult..and fell in love! Thought all those teens were crazy to start with.....some say these are teen books..I think there is an under-lying current there that adults will enjoy. the characters are well developed and your feel their anguish..a modern day Romeo and Juliet with a twist. also if your looking for adventure and fantasy and love then it's all here.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Twilight 4 words. Real vampires don't sparkle. Because I know you've all seen the movie. Shallow characters. Skeletal plot. If you are looking for a decent vampire read and you are an adult, try Laurell k. Hamilton. She's been around long enough that her first book is a classic. If you are a young person 14 and up, try Anne Rice. Sorry to burst your bubble if you are a die hard twilight fan. Read those books first, before you decide that my call was a bad one.
