Rick Remender puts the uncanny into X-Force in an epic, criti cally acclaimed run! Psylocke, Archangel, Deadpool and Fantomex sign up to Wolverine's secret squad of assassins, but their first mission - to find and deal with the reborn Apocalypse - casts a long shadow. As X-Force struggles to come to terms with their actions, one among them unravels in what could only be called the Dark Angel Saga. Startlingly familiar Deathloks, a return to the Age of Apocalypse, a warring Otherworld, and the all-new, all-deadly Brotherhood of Evil Mutants await in Remender's extraordinary exploration of the ethics of execution.

Customer Reviews of Uncanny X-force By Rick Remender Omnibus

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rick Remender writes one good X-story. Don't miss this one. You'll regret it. I swear Uncanny X-force is probably the easiest X-universe series to get into. If you don't know that much about the continuity it matters not. Sure there are a bunch of X-history references and plot points but they are not so detailed that you can't appreciate this wonderful series for what it is. It's Wolverine and some of the best X-charcters you will ever meet going Kick-ass on anything they see as a possible treat. Well actually this whole series is based on one act of violence and the ramificatons good or bad from that act. Rick Remender is a wonderful writer and he assembled IMO a dream team of X-Force agents. The art for the most part is phenomenal. The one exception to that would be Greg Tochini. His style is very blurred, and it may be thie inking more than his pencils but for whatever reason I have never been a fan of his work. That being said his art works fine for his arc (Otherworld). I can't think of any comic fan who would not love this book whether you are a fan of the X-MEN and Wolverine or not.
