about

International bestseller!

In her groundbreaking debut essay collection, actress Lily Collins—Golden Globe-nominated star of Rules Don’t Apply, Mortal Instruments, and To the Bone—is opening a poignant, honest conversation about the things young women struggle with: body image, self-confidence, relationships, family, dating, and so much more.

Lily shares her life and her own deepest secrets, underlining that every single one of us experiences pain and heartbreak. We all understand what it’s like to live in the light and in the dark. For Lily, it’s about making it through to the other side, where you love what you see in the mirror and where you embrace yourself just as you are. She's learned that all it takes is one person standing up and saying something for everyone else to realize they’re not alone.

By turns hilarious and heartbreaking, Lily’s honest voice will inspire you to be who you are and say what you feel. It’s time to claim your voice! It’s time to live your life unfiltered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! This books is absolutely amazing, my all-time favourite biography, and one of my favourite books in general. This book was an easy read and was so good that I read it in three days! Lily Collins is so relatable it felt like I was sitting down getting advice from a friend and not just reading a biography. This book made me admire and love Lily Collins even more than I already did! This book is a must read.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great! It’s a cute and quick read where we to get to know Lily and learn about her relationship struggles, how she overcome her eating disorder and her journey of self-love and acceptance. “It starts with me. In order to accept the love I deserve from someone else, I must truly believe that I am worthy of it. And I am. And I’ll never let anyone tell me differently." It was interesting reading about Lily’s experiences on the set of her two new movies seeing as I recently watched both on Netflix (Okja and To The Bone). It was cool getting insight into her daily life and learning more about her and her family as well as her career! This is a great read for women in general, especially young women who are unsure of themselves and their futures. Reading this book made me feel cozy and safe and I feel like Lily is now one of my good friends.
