Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great volume Vampire Knight Volume 7 is like every other volume; it finishes too fast! Contains spoilers!: In this volume, Zero's brother, Ichiru, has transferred to the academy. He's a human, but he seems to have other plans. Not only that, Rido Kuran has returned from the dead to take over his position of the head of the Kuran clan. And Kaname offers his blood to someone we least expected - Zero. Yuki keeps having nightmares and want to know the truth of her past. She believes that Kaname has something to do with it. Kaname, however, is avoiding the topic, hoping to buy more time. What exactly is he hiding? We get what we've all been waiting for too: Kaname asks Yuki to be his lover. 5/5

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Many Surprises! So, I've been reading this online, so I'm not too sure what events are included in this one exactly but all I can say is that there's so much going on! AND PREPARE TO BE SURPRISED!!! Yuuki's keeps having nightmares filled with blood and death, and decides to ask Kaname about them, but he still manages to avoid answering. What could he be hiding!?! Why won't he just tell about her missing memories!?! Well, I'm not going to tell you but the answer is a shocker! Meanwhile. Kaname's enemy, Rido Kuran, has come to the school and that only means TROUBLE AND DANGER- not just for Yuuki but for Cross Academy too. So many things to say, but they would only give it away!! Definitely read it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best volume yet! I was so anxious to read volumes 6 and 7 that I HAD to import them from Singapore, and I wasn't disappointed! Please be warned, as this contains many spoilers from unreleased volumes! Volume 7 begins after the break, when everyone returns to Cross Academy. In the last volume, Yuki began to question her past, and now she's certain that Kaname had something to do with her missing memories. She confronts him, and he evades her questioning, confessing his feelings for her. Zero, wanting to help Yuki figure out her past, goes to the Moon Dorm to confront Kaname himself, where a shocking scene takes place... Lots of character development here. It's great to see Kaname and Zero get into an actual fight. Before it was just gun-pulling and sharp words, but this is the real deal. Anyway, I love where the story is going. Yuki begins to have more bloody hallucinations as she further questions her past, and the mysterious figure from the previous volume, revealed to be Kaname's uncle, Rido Kuran, infiltrates Cross Academy, and tries to capture Yuki for unknown reasons. But Kaname, in one last attempt to save Yuki, captures her before Rido could get to her, and the volume ends in ANOTHER surprising scene! I can't wait for more! The story is beginning to climb up a large slope, and I know that the next volume will be even better, especially with the HUGE cliffhanger! Matsuri Hino is a genius. She also re-introduces some old characters, such as Zero's evil twin, Ichiru, who has united with Rido to get revenge on Shizuka Hio's killer. But don't get me wrong, this volume has plenty of sweet moments too. Lots of romance, from both Kaname and Zero. And in one scene, there's a bit of KanamexZero. Bahahaha. A must buy for all vampire, manga, and Vampire Knight fans.
