Rated 2 out of 5 by from Excellent and unusual recipes but book is VERY poorly bound Be prepared! This cookbook is for more serious cooks. I like the recipes but often have to wait until I goto the 'big city' to get some of the unusual ingredients - things like aji Amarillo paste and frozen grated coconut and extra fine bulgar ( never have found that last item), and so on. Unfortunately the book is very poorly bound!! The first copy fell apart within a few weeks and since I replaced it at a Chapters store instead of waiting for a new one to be mailed I had to pay quite a bit extra!! Now I notice that pages are starting to fall out of this book too! I would give this book a 4star rating for the recipes but must mark it down because of the binding

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For the adventurous This is not my most used cookbook by any means. The recipes I have tried have turned out well. My only issue with this book is that some ingredients are hard to find but I suppose that is to be expected with a cookbook of this nature :)
