Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm not vegan, but I love this cookbook! My sister, who is vegan, gave me this cookbook for Christmas. I'm not vegan, but I've been using recipes from this cookbook almost every day since Christmas!! Every single thing I've tried has been fabulous, and really easy. I had no idea it was so easy to prepare great vegan meals! I am transitioning to a vegetarian diet, and imagine - with the help of this cookbook someday I might go even further. My husband has a gluten allergy, and we find most of the recipes in this book to be either gluten-free or easily made with simple substitutions (i.e. using gluten-free pasta instead of regular pasta). I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is adopting a healthier diet for themselves, whether they are cutting out animal products or just looking for great healthy meals!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best vegan cookbook around I have around ten or twelve vegan cookbooks and this one is by far the best. I refer to this book more than any other because the recipes are not only consistently good, they are almost always excellent. There is a very broad range of recipes, yet they require few special or expensive ingredients. Furthermore, the recipes are well balanced and healthy making this the ideal cookbook. If you are new to vegan cooking or unsure of which cookbook to try next this is it.
