Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kissing Sin Another amazing book in the series.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "Kissing Sin" by Keri Arthur. Book 2 in the Riley Jenson Guardian series. Dark, sensually lustful, mysterious and sci-fi-ish! This second book in the Riley Jenson series has it all. The story line picks up 2 months after the first book ends and Riley finds herself kidnapped once again. Her body being used for who-knows-what (besides the obvious), Riley finds herself in life or death situations trying to find out who is creating creatures so vile and nasty she can't even bear to look at them. This same someone wants her DNA for unknown reasons. Her boss is still trying to convince her to become a guardian, her vampire lover Quinn won't accept her for being part wolf, her werewolf lover Misha is bribing her with information in return for her having his baby, she's picked up a horse-shifter, Kade, as a lover but is not sure who he really is, and, to top it all off, a werewolf alpha, Kellen, wants to be her mate! Just another average day in the life of Riley Jenson. Quite a cast of characters in this book! All very strong and likable. The story line is as dark as the first book with situations that make your skin crawl while reading. Overall, a very well told story and I can't wait to dive into the next one to see what happens.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wasn't bad but wasn't great This was just ok for me. The book had action but it still fell short for me. I liked the first book better. On one hand I do understand Riley’s sexual urges because she is a wolf and she reminds us every second that that is who she is but on the other hand I’m rolling my eyes thinking I can’t go through this whole series having it repeat over and over again her sexual desires and different partners. I just can’t take the romance side of the book seriously because Riley is constantly sleeping with different men and trades sex for information because it’s only “sex” to her.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good read, and fun ride. Riley wakes up naked and covered in blood. She has no idea what has happened to her. Soon she meets Kale, and horse were, and the two of them are soon running for their lives. Riley had been taken to a breading centre, seems that she is still highly desired for her DNA. Riley has had enough of the lies and the people trying to catch or kill her. Everything she though she knew is coming undone. The only person that she can trust is her brother Rhoan, and maybe the very sexy, old vampire Quinn. Kissing Sin is the second in this sexy fun series. Riley is forever in the middle of trouble, and always trying to do the right thing to get out. Riley also has some deeply person issues to deal with, can she become a mom. She really wants to. Since she does want to be a mom, she really tries not to connect with Quinn as a vampire can’t be a dad. The connection between Riley and Quinn is hot, but so are some of her other lovers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing The character Riley is strong, determined and always ready for a good time! You keep wondering if anything will go right for Riley and who will she end up with. Page turner that will keep you up all night.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Much Like the First Sad to say I really didn't enjoy the second novel in the series. This was far too much like the first novel; a series of erotica and chase scenes with the plotline becoming more drawn out and topsy turvy. Some expressions and scenarios were almost word-for-word like "Full Moon Rising." That sort of thing is really disappointing and always reminds me of Laurell K. Hamilton who's ridiculously repetitive in her writing for such a popular author.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great surprise! This is the first novel by this author that I have read, just happened to come across the book and thought it would be an interesting read and it turned out to be so much more than that! I was surprised by how much I got into the storyline and the characters were great! I couldn't put the book down. Now that I've read this novel by Keri Arthur I'm definitely going to check out her other novels and would recommend this one to anyone as well! You never know you just might be as surprised as I was!

Especially if you enjoy Vampire novels and science fiction.
