Rated 3 out of 5 by from Valuable Read Overall, I was very satisfied with an ending that resolved all of the many subplots that ran through the book. I think that this book is a valuable read for any person of any age above 10 or 11. Each of the characters withing the story (and there were many) confronted challenges that resulted in their becoming a stronger person. I think that this is very valuable lesson for all children, and an important reminder for all adults.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great book! I was assigned this book for my novel studies group. Each of us was assigned a character, and I was Salamanca's (a.k.a Salamander's) grandmother (a.k.a Gayfeather). My favorite Character in the book was Phoebe (a.k.a Free-bee ice-bottom) because she had so many brothers and sisters (a.k.a brats). A.K.A...READ IT! READ IT, READ IT!!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amber's review Walk two moons by sharon creech is a fabulous book. The main character Salamanca Hiddle was explaining a story of Phoebe Witterbottom. She explianed how they meet and how her mother just suddenly with out warning left while phoebe and prudence (her sister) were at school. I definately recomend this book to people who are having a rough time in life and tell them to just sit down and read it from begining to end . At a point you will just sit there and cry for the charatres. It makes you realize that there are people out there having a harder time then you. also if you want a good laugh to read it as well because sals grand parent are the funniest. You just have to read it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Book Review : Walk Two Moons Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech was an O.K. book , O.K. but not great. Walk Two Moons is a fictional novel for young readers that describes a 13 year old girls struggle when her mother leaves home and then dies in a bus accident. Salamanaca Tree Hiddle is the main character who is torn by her mothers death, but still doesn't believe that her beloved mother could possibly be dead. Sal meets a girl who has a problem parallel to hers, who helps Sal come to reality and realise that her mother has actually passed by helping Pheobe deal with her heartache. I enjoyed this story of a girl who needs to realise and be thankful for what she has , instead of clinging on to the past. This also a lesson that many people need to learn, instead of concentrating on what they don't have. I enjoyed all of the eccentric characters along with thrir unique personalities and their adventursome and interesting lives (especially Gram and Gramps whos
