Allegiances are shifting among the Clans of warrior cats that roam the forest. With tensions so delicately balanced, former friends can become enemies overnight, and some cats are willing to kill to get what they want.

Fireheart is determined to find out the truth about the mysterious death of brave ThunderClan warrior Redtail. But as he searches for answers, he uncovers secrets that some believe would be better left hidden.

Erin Hunter is inspired by a love of cats and a fascination with the ferocity of the natural world. As well as having great respect for nature in all its forms, Erin enjoys creating rich mythical explanations for animal behavior. She is also the author of the bestselling Seekers series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW OH WOW! Now this was indeed one of the best books of the seiries. I found it very emotional. like when yellowfang asked cinderpaw to be her apprentice, the death of silverstream and the birth of graystripes two kits, the excitement of the floods in riverclan, the reavealance of tigerclaw, and most of all, the leaving of Graystripe. now thats book writing I once again say WOW! well done erin!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from mystrious book This book is full of surprises. There's action, romance, a bit of comedy, tragedy; the kind of stuff that I want in a book. Fireheart (main charecter) is determined to find out how the former deputy was killed. Tigerclaw finally goes after what he wants in this book and fireheart is in for a big surprise when tigerclaw's done. I recommend this book and series for people with a love of animals and who like action-packed, no clue what's around the corner books.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So GREAT!!! This series of Warriors is so great! I like this one the best, but it is really sad. I was so sad when that thing happened to Silverstream. (I'm not going to tell you though, its too sad)! I was really shocked when that thing happened to Tigerclaw (I dont want to tell you that either)! I feel sorry for Graystripe. And Bluestar too. But anyways, its too great so the sadness won't bother you as much. You should read it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great book! I think that this book was wonderful. I can hardly wait until I can buy the next one! It's full of suspense, even though I could figure out a few things before the characters themselves did. The ending was a real shock, and so was the thing with Silverstream. This was a GREAT book, and I think everyone should read it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW! What to say about this book? Well I wrote a review about the first one in the series saying it was very well done, but this one was excellent. There was suspence, betrayal, tears. I say I almost cried at the very end. And Bluestar, I feel so sorry for her! Sorry to all those who haven't read the book and are reading this review...I didn't mean to say to much. Anyway to get to the point, I loved it and am waiting impatiently for the next one to come out! Kudos to Erin and her amazing imagination!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT This book is a wonderful book. I think that anyone who has read the others should read it. It's got a lot of death and sadness, but that's part of what makes it so good. I suggest that you read the other books first, however, because some of it might not make sense otherwise.
