ShadowClan has a dark new leader, but will he be satisfied with his power now -- or does his desire for revenge burn even more strongly? Fireheart fears that there is a connection between the rise of Tigerstar and the terrible dreams that haunt his nights, murmuring of danger and death.

Meanwhile, a mysterious and vicious threat unlike any other has invaded the forest, placing every cat's life in peril. Fireheart's beloved leader has turned her back on their warrior ancestors, and Fireheart can't help but wonder if she's right. Has StarClan abandoned them forever?

Erin Hunter is inspired by a love of cats and a fascination with the ferocity of the natural world. As well as having great respect for nature in all its forms, Erin enjoys creating rich mythical explanations for animal behavior. She is also the author of the bestselling Seekers series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from katie's veiw of A Dangerous Path (meow) My daughter Katie has read Books 1-6, Firestars Quest and Books 1-3 in the New Prophecy. A Dangerous Path is by far her most favorite. As Katie says: These books have made me a way more creative writer and also a better reader. I loved the book because I got to see the cats eye view of the world. I agree with the writers, I love the way you can include animal interaction and hiddin motivation into what cats do. This was the best book ever and thats why! Meow! PS, Erin Hunter is a name made for the three authors who write Warriors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE BEST I loved this book. I laughed out loud when something funny happened and I cried my eyes out when something sad happened. I don't like watching tv much either, all I want to do is read these books. I have only three left to read in the new prophecy so can the two writers please write more. I really wish I had found these books earlier because they are amazing. They totally blow harry potter out of the water. They're great for anyone 10+., and it doesn't matter if your fifty. I would love to have a friend like Fireheart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy It! This series has completely changed my life. Before i really liked dogs, but now i favour cats who are often the enemies of dogs! Erin Hunter describes the forest with such beautiful language that you can picture the leaf on every tree and every blade of grass as though it were sitting right in front of you nose. The author also makes it so that you know the characters so well that if one of them dies then you feel the same pain that its clan feels, and sometimes it even feels like part of you has died. Now i will never view another forest the same way, because i keep on pictures cats hiding there watching my every step. Thank you Erin Hunter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warriors: Just as Much Fun As Eating Chocolate! This saga was well planned, even know written by two authors, writing every other book. The best written book ever. It made you feel the emotions that the characters had, even though you knew that it was just paper in your hand. When some cat died, your heart and soul would die with the poor feline. The adventure in this novel is breath-taking, just as so as the Grand Canyon, or Niagara Falls. So I recommend this; Sit back, kick your feet up, and strap yourself in for a gut-busting laugh-attack, and an eye-soaking hour of tears.
