Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love RiverClan RiverClan is probably my favorite Clan in the series, so I was very excited to read about a book focusing on them. It was nice to see how they tied in events of the future with cats of the past, which we see here with Crookedstar and the Dark Forest cats. It is definitely a book I would recommend to anyone currently reading the series, though it does not change the story line if you do not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice change from Thunderclan I wasn't really interested into seeing what the other clans were up too when the stand alone novels came out about Warriors. But I have to say Crookedstar's promise and Bluestar's Prophecy are probably my favourites. Each stand alone is great if you like the Warriors series, as the authors really appear to put time into the creation and characters of the other clans. Crookedstar's Promise answered a few questions that were not explained in the series as well as an interesting storyline. If you like the series I would recommend Crookedstar's promise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A must read for any fan of the warror series it starts with a simple promise and ends with a descriptive manga. I found it explains how the dark forest began in the omen of the stars series. if you are starting to read the warriors series start with the first book, Into the wild. I would reccommed Erin Hunters other series, Survivors ( with dogs), and Seekers (with bears).
