Brenda Henry's "Weirdo Parfait" is a creative non-fiction collection of personal essays, urban anecdotes and inspirational pieces about seemingly ordinary people and events that bring life to a city. As a child, Brenda built forts in the woods, created sandbox stories, watched tadpoles become frogs and read mystery books by the armload. She performed standup comedy and continues to present motivational seminars. Brenda is a retired teacher who has contributed to various Canadian newspapers and magazines. She lives in Montreal with her husband Phil, also known as "Mister GPS." Brenda enjoys volunteering, cycling, gardening, exploring cities and line dancing.
