The unforgettable bestseller Wonder, now a major motion picture, has inspired a nationwide movement to Choose Kind. Now parents and educators can introduce the importance of choosing kind to younger readers with this gorgeous picture book, featuring Auggie and Daisy on an original adventure, written and illustrated by R. J. Palacio.
Over 6 million people have fallen in love with Wonder and have joined the movement to Choose Kind. Now younger readers can meet Auggie Pullman, an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face, and his beloved dog, Daisy.
Countless fans have asked R. J. Palacio to write a book for younger readers. With We’re All Wonders, she makes her picture-book debut as both author and artist, with a spare, powerful text and striking, richly imagined illustrations. Palacio shows readers what it’s like to live in Auggie’s world—a world in which he feels like any other kid, but he’s not always seen that way.
We’re All Wonders may be Auggie’s story, but it taps into every child’s longing to belong, and to be seen for who they truly are. It’s the perfect way for families and educators to talk about empathy and kindness with young children.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too simple and heavy handed I bought this book for my kids aged 3 and 5, and unfortunately they lost interest in this one pretty quickly. The illustrations are quite engaging, and the message of the book is a great one, however the meaning of the book comes across in such a direct way it is not particularly interesting or well developed. I think my kids would get more out of the actual book version when they're a little older.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It helps if you show your kids the trailer My six-year-old daughter was able to read the book on her own but it doesn't explain that the protagonist underwent surgery and he looks different from others. She can tell the boy is different because he only draws himself with one eye but she wasn't sure why he was not ordinary. After showing her the movie trailer, she was able to enjoy the book thoroughly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A beautiful "lite" version of Wonder This was a gift for my 5 year old grandson just starting out in school. This book an excellent way to stimulate discussions about "differences", with kids beginning to develop awareness of others, appearances, and how we form judgements. My grandson loves it. I loved Wonder, and purchased it for older grandkids. This version is every bit as enlightening for the younger set.
