Rated 5 out of 5 by from A gripping tale I go back to this novel over and over. It's a very well written war story that keeps you guessing until the end. I also revisit the movie frequently as well. With all the new novels that have been written lately about WWII, this beats them all, as good as some of them are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A True Page Turner MacLean's adventure page turners never lets the reader down. This is a fast paced barn burner with so many twists and turns that you never know who the true villains and heroes are until the end. MacLean's novels rival 007 and I think are, in many cases, better.
