Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amy Tan's memoir I have read all of Amy Tan's books, including the Opposite of Fate, her first non-fiction book.Some what like Opposite of Fate, Amy Tan allows you into her family life and personal struggles and tragedies. I was fascinated when I read the Opposite of fate, and this book is equally engaging. You find out about her writing process and all that she goes through to bring a story to life. If you enjoy her fiction, and would like to understand her more as a person, you will enjoy this book.
