In Connecticut, the murder of a pharmaceutical bigwig brings in Savich and Sherlock, along with local Agent Bowie Richards and P.I. Erin Pulaski. Back in Washington, an important U.S. senator is terrorized by an unknown entity, and is calling for Savich's special skills. When the Vice President is nearly killed it's clear these crimes are linked, and Savich and Sherlock must act fast to stop a killer.
Catherine Coulter is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the FBI Thrillers featuring husband and wife team Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock. She is also the author—with J. T. Ellison—of the Brit in the FBI series. She lives in Sausalito, California.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Whiplash Savich and Sherlock are endearing protagonists, and the supporting cast holds together well. This was a page turner with an elegant twist at the end. It was worth the read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Read as Always A s with all of her FBI thrillers featuring Sherlock and Savich this is an entertaining and great read. The new main characters of Erin and Bowie and of course Georgie are refreshing and ones who you will root for and take to you heart. As with all Catherine Coulter books I was sad to come to the end knowing it will be a wait for her next - but always worth waiting for.
