Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Research tool This work by Michael Bensen represents an ambitious attempt to locate and compile a list of all persons, places and things involved or even tangentially connected to the JFK assassination. This encyclopedia is best used when reading other sources on the subject. When used as a reference resource while reading books on the assassination, "A-Z" allows the reader to follow the cast and characters that writers may only sparingly make reference to. A good example of the expanded depth available in this book is the section on Dean Andrews (New Orleans attorney mentioned in Jim Garrison's book). In most books this character is only given a brief treatment. In "A-Z" the reader will find a complete background including excellent linkages to other characters and events. Great background and context piece.
