Rated 4 out of 5 by from VERY INFORMATIVE! This book was somewhat revolutionary for me in the way that I now understood why all of my weight gain was mainly around my mid-section. It gives the straight up facts on insulin resistance: the risks, the symptoms, and what is likely to happen if you have this COMMON problem. I picked it up because I heard insulin resistance is essentially the problem with PCOS, so I wanted to do more research. This book definitely helped. I recommend it to everyone, as this 'syndrome' is so common, we should all be aware of it. Enjoy!
