Rated 5 out of 5 by from In Love with her World Building I love anything Kailin Gow writes. Her fiction books always takes me into another world, whether it is fantasy, thriller, horror, or contemporary. I am in love with her world building and her strong female heroine. They are feminine beautiful and strong, a good model for the modern woman.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my Favorites!!! I will read anything from the prolific Kailin Gow in any genres. Now only does she have hundreds of books, but they are addicting. I have spent many nights staying up trying to finish a series. You read one book, you have to read the next. I am not the only lifelong fan. My sister and cousins are all reading her. There's vintage Kailin Gow and then there's her newest releases. You have to read them all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Read Briony is one brave girl! I would have moved out of Wicked as soon as I saw my first vamp. Her first encounter with them is something out of a horror movie, which gave me goosebumps. The writing is so descriptive it is like watching your favorite television series that is now a movie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic start to a highly imagined series Right from the start, you are drawn into the eerie woods surrounding Briony and her great aunt's house. The author does a fantastic job building this world where you feel the horror yet the romance of the inhabitants in the woods. I enjoyed the unique plot that includes familiar monster themes, but with the Preservation Society around, this series is not your typical paranormal romance.
