Return once more to a galaxy far, far away with this sublime retelling of George Lucas’s epic Star Wars in the style of the immortal Bard of Avon. The saga of a wise (Jedi) knight and an evil (Sith) lord, of a beautiful princess held captive and a young hero coming of age, Star Wars abounds with all the valor and villainy of Shakespeare’s greatest plays. ’Tis a tale told by fretful droids, full of faithful Wookiees and fearstome Stormtroopers, signifying...pretty much everything.

Reimagined in glorious iambic pentameter—and complete with twenty gorgeous Elizabethan illustrations--William Shakespeare’s Star Wars will astound and edify Rebels and Imperials alike. Zounds! This is the book you’re looking for.

Customer Reviews of William Shakespeare's Star Wars

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gimmicky, but in a good way I bought this book as a joke, but I actually really enjoyed it. It's the kind of book that doesn't take itself to seriously, filled with goofy lines and a bit of ridiculous artwork. If you're looking for a good laugh at a cheesy joke, this book delivers. #plumreview

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun but flawed #plumreview Much like most of these types of products, and yes, it feels more like a product, the gimmick is interesting and fun at first, but it has trouble sustaining itself. Only for the hardcore Star Wars fun looking for a twist on a story they probably know by heart.
