Everybody has something to hide
Jude Winters is confident in one thing - she has no idea how to run a ski school. But a missing husband and mounting bills mean she's going to have to find out fast. The hard way.

Mike Cole has skied nearly everywhere in the world. Now it's time to tick Scotland off his list, before he kicks the snow from his boots and carries on with his Kiwi version of walkabout.

But things aren't always what they seem. And even wanderlust can sometimes be sated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great story! Winter Arrives by Roz Marshall was a captivating read. From the first page, I was hooked; readers are told that there is a conflict in the story but are not told what it is. I thought this was great because I tried to guess what was going on and how it would be resolved. In addition to this, every chapter ends with suspense, which adds to the major conflict at the beginning of the story, making the story even more interesting. I also loved how there are many different characters with a wide variety of personality types. This means that any reader would be able to relate very quickly to at least one character and enhance their reading experience. Furthermore, the story was told through the perspectives of many differnet characters, which allowed us to connect with the characters and see how each of them are feeling about things that happen throughout the story. Although some sentences were a little long for my liking, I really enjoyed reading Winter Arrives and cannot wait to read the second book in the series.
