Winter Park is a fine, considered, original piece of creative work…I enjoyed it hugely.”  ~Toby Litt, author of Corpsing

Winter Park is characterized by a vivid yet uncluttered prose style as well as a fantastically good ear for spoken dialogue and black humour.  The continuities with Faulkner are perhaps the most striking.” ~Dr. Helen Stoddart, University of Glasgow

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unusual Ok! Where to start and how best to say it! Oh Yes, a Special Thanks to Author Buzz and you, Graham for a signed copy of Winter Park. I have read it and as promised am providing my honest review. OK! I have to say this was an unusual read, in a good sort of way.! I was immediately taken with the very creative and unique writing style. I particularly liked the way you dabbled with the philosophy of the English language. This is what got me hooked and I had to keep reading. I loved your Harris character and his obsession with the dictionary, it's definitions and logic. This novel is funny (although dark), I have to admit I still giggled. This novel covers, just about everything, sex, drugs, humour, music and of course my favorite , language. The only negative thing I did find, was the profanity. But that is more than likely just me being of the old school, (grey hair and all) I just don't really like to read them in novels. But that would be the only negative, and it did not stop me from reading this book. So would I recommend this book Yes!! just be prepared, for the profanity.
