Rated 3 out of 5 by from A good collection of magical short stories This is a book of a group of short stories by different fantasy and science fiction authors. All the stories are about magic or wizards in some way. Most of the stories I found enjoyable. They were creative and clever and many of the stories have an unexpected "twist" ending. Most of the stories are 10 pages or less so this is a good book to pick up and put down if you don't have a lot of time to site down and get deeply into a single story. Even though the title is "Wizards" there were plenty of stories featuring female main characters. I would recommend this.”

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good overview of current fantasy writers Nice introduction to a lot of different fantasy writers. Some great stories, some are alright but I am sure that everyone would have their own favorites. Certainly will get anyone interested in a few different authors when searching for someone new to read.
