The Talon Pack continues with the daughter of a traitor, the man who can never be her lover, and another man she should never want…her enemy.

Charlotte Jamenson was born to the Pack that threatened the world, but grew up in the one that saved it. She’s spent her entire life repenting for lies and faults that were never hers to bear. When she falls for her best friend, Bram Devlin, she thinks she’s finally found forgiveness for the blood in her veins; only a mating bond never came.

Bram knows there’s something missing within his mating with Charlotte, but there’s nothing he can do about it. Their Pack is in danger, and it’s his duty to protect their Alpha—even if it means sacrificing his life. When he’s put in charge of protecting a new member of the Talon Pack, he realizes he and Charlotte may just have a chance at something more than heartache.

Shane Bruins sacrificed his life and his future to protect the Packs from the men he worked for. Now, thanks to circumstances beyond his control, he’s not quite who he was before, and his life is on the line yet again. Only this time, he isn’t alone, and the two wolves in his path might be the only things that can calm the beast inside.

The war isn’t coming, it’s here, and the Talon Pack will have to rely on three souls who know they aren’t what each other wants—but exactly what they need—to win.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "Wolf Betrayed" by Carrie Ann Ryan. Book 4 in the Talon Pack series. I read this book in November 2016. This was my review. Another great addition to the series. I really enjoyed reading about the main characters of Bram, Charlotte and Shane. Previous books have already mentioned that Bram and Charlotte are a couple but their mating bond didn't work. In true Carrie Ann Ryan style, it takes a third person to complete their bond obviously making this book a triad romance with instances of m/f, m/m and m/f/m couplings. The book works as a stand alone but would be much more enjoyed if you read the series in order and know how all the characters are related. Bram and Charlotte have been best friends almost their entire lives. They (and everyone else) thought they were true mates but when they tried to mate, the mating bond didn't form and they're not sure why. Until Charlotte and Bram meet Shane. Shane is a human soldier and an enemy of the Talon Pack. He was betrayed by his boss and was unwillingly injected with a serum. Now Shane needs the Talon Pack's help. Caught in a world between human and wolf, Shane doesn't understand the feelings he has towards both Bram and Charlotte. With a war starting between shifters and humans, can Bram, Charlotte and Shane really start a relationship? That's basically the overall romantic plot for this book. Obviously emotions come into play, each character dealing with their own issues regarding being in relationships. The overall series story plot advances and comes to a close but another story line is introduced and teases the reader about who the next book will be about. Tiny spoiler here, the next book is also a triad romance. (But I won't say who!) I am enjoying this series and look forward to reading the next book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it I voluntarily reviewed this advanced copy of this book. I really enjoyed the fast paced story. Carrie Ann Ryan sure knows how to grab your attention and keep it in the story. If I was able to and life didn’t get in the way I would have read this story all in one go. I cannot wait now for the next story in the series to come out.
