Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good World After, sequel to Angelfall, was a good read. The romance between main characters Penryn and Raffe continued to develop and so did the storyline. I liked that the story picked up right where it left off in the first book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn't disappoint.... One thing I loved about World After, right off the bat, was where it started in the story. So many series tend to leave some stretch of time between the books, and pick up days, weeks, or months after the end of the previous book. But I love series where one book just flows into the next — and this was the way with World After. It picks up exactly where we left off in Angelfall, with Penryn paralyzed, apparently dead, being whisked away from Raffe after he returned her to her mother at the end of Book 1. Thankfully we find out what happened after that point, not days or even just hours later. Right from the very beginning, World After is packed with action and tension and omg-what-is-going-on moments that kept me on the edge of my seat through the entire book. There was never a moment where things slowed down. And even though it’s longer than Angelfall, to me it felt shorter, because it was just so jam-packed with Important things happening. Finally — the ending to World After is perfect. It’s slightly cliffhanger-ish. It’s a great ending.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great This is the second book of Angelfall and I felt it was lacking in comparison to the first. It's got a lot of action packed into it for a shorter novel but I feel like it took a totally different turn and direction from the first book, almost as if too many strange/different ideas were happening at once. However it was good and I will definitely be buying the final book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved it~! It was a brilliant sequel and I like how it started right where the first novel ended. I was not expecting the ending at all as there were so many times where I felt my heart pounding in suspense for Penryn and other characters. As always, the mom is a strange but genius woman and the interactions between Raffe and Penryn were so adorable and amazing. I was happy to see how Paige was by the end of the novel, strong after everything she's been through. Looking forward to the third and last novel. :)
