Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent brief history series Whether you're new to the Warcraft series and its history or a long time fan. This series of books known as Chronicles is full of surprises and knowledge for those new and old to the games historic lore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW! There is a great mishmash of creation myths that has many borrowed aspects from ancient cultures, notably Sumerian, Norse, Celtic etc. I started as a casual player but with all this lore the game does become more "pertinent" as one tries to make their way through this realm of living gods and demons. Visually, it is a well crafted book, containing full colour illustrations all bound in a worn-out-leather-like hardcover I ordered immediately Vol 2!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful artwork I saw this on sale and figured I would snatch it up quick. The book arrived in perfect condition and when I opened it the first thing I noticed was the artwork. It all looks stunning in this book. I have not read it yet since I just received it today but am looking forward to diving in!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for Warcraft fans! If you've played Warcraft 1-3 or World of Warcraft and are interested in the lore, I highly recommend getting this. This is the first in a serious of book that codifies the Warcraft lore in chronological order starting with the cosmology and the beginning of the universe. It answers a lot of questions that I myself (as an avid Warcraft player) had and I was even shocked a couple times at those answers. The book has a nice hardcover and each page inside is glossy and filled with tons of breathtaking art work. Overall definitely worth the money!
