Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic It's a classic for xmen fans

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of unexpected extra stories For those of you who want to read DAYS OF FUTURE PAST only, or for those who want to stick to the Claremont continuing X-men saga I would recomend X-Men: Days of Future Past or The Uncanny X-Men Omnibus Volume 2. IMHO those are what most fans will want. This DOFP is a nice collection of the main story and a bunch of tie-ins that were usually written much later than the original story. There is the story of Frankilin Richards told over 4 or so cross over issues. A good story and it sheds some extra light on the DOFP timeline and some extra character history with Cable and Franklin. Rachel Summers gets the spotlight with some Exculibur issues showcasing her history, and a 3 part Wolverine story set in the DOFP time line. All in all I prefer my Uncanny X-men over this but I know not everyone wants to shell out the extra $45 for that. This nice oversized Vol is a great way to have a complete DOFP collection but other than the main story nothing else is essential reading.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Short and sweet Days of Future Past has been embedded as one of the X-Men's greatest stories. It's a great little time traveling story and it's nice to see what the movie got adapted from. People should keep in mind that Days of Future Past is only two issues long so the page count of the other issues included in this paperback are not DoFP related.
