In this action-packed third book in the New York Times bestselling Dorothy Must Die series, new girl from Kansas Amy Gumm is caught between her home—and Oz. Perfect for fans of Marissa Meyer’s Lunar Chronicles and Gregory Maguire’s Wicked, Danielle Paige delivers a dark, high-octane reimagining of L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

My name is Amy Gumm. Tornadoes must have a thing about girls from Kansas, because—just like Dorothy—I got swept away on one too. I landed in Oz, where Good is Wicked, Wicked is Good, and the Wicked Witches clued me in to my true calling: Assassin.

The only way to stop Dorothy from destroying Oz—and Kansas—is to kill her. But I failed. Others died for my mistakes. Because of me, the portal between the worlds has been opened. And if I don’t find a way to close it?

Dorothy will make sure I never go home again.

Now it’s up to me to: join the Witches, fight for Oz, save Kansas, and stop Dorothy once and for all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Couldn't put it down So far I have loved every book although my age group is not the target audience. I had such a hard time putting it down as I always wanted to know what was going to happen next that I finished this book in only a few hours. Looking forward to seeing how everything will wrap up in the final book of the series! #plumreview

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really enjoying the series It's not often that I finish all the books in the series but I have really enjoyed this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Exciting I find each book gets shorter but more exciting. It may be more of a personal problem, because I just want to find out what happens, I find parts that are very descriptive to be tedious at this point. Still exciting.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Yellow Brick War I'm not enjoying this book as much as the first 2. I couldn't put the first 2 down, this one I can't pick back up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What is going on? A lot of the book takes place back in her home, where she becomes friends with the girl who made her life hell? The the new characters that they introduced were not interesting at all. She has gotten away from the premise if the first book.
