Not only is he struggling to prepare for the Circle of Three, an ancient ritual that tests a samurai's courage, skill and spirit to the limit, he's caught in a running battle with fellow student Kazuki and his gang. But these are the least of Jack's problems. He knows his deadly rival - the ninja Dragon Eye - could strike at any moment. Jack possesses the very thing he will kill for. Can Jack master the Way of the Sword in time to survive a fight to the death?

Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bushido Since I never did a review on the first novel, I will put them together. Both novels follow Jack Fletcher a young English boy who finds himself in Japan after his Father is murdered by Ninja that sink their ship. Jack is adopted by a Samurai Master and must follow "Bushido" The Way Of The Samurai to protect himself against the Ninja. Jack must over-come the obstacles of living in a new Country, so far from home. The Culture , Religion, Tradition and most of all The Food. He must learn everything for the first time, and push himself farther then he ever has. A great story with timeless characters who fill this book with laughs and no-stop action. Each book I enjoyed very much, Chris does an amazing job staying very authentic in everything he writes. I would highly recommend this novel to any who wants to learn about what it takes to be a samurai. Or anyone looking for a fun filled action packed time in Japan. Can't wait for the next novel in the series.
