Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Frightening Character I read this book in the paperback form that no longer seems to be available. It was written after the author's original book on Stalin and it helps to have read that before reading this. This book concentrates in more detail on his early life. He was not a nice person even while he was young and this book clearly shows that he had all the characteristics to become the brutal dictator that he became.
