Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tool for Management This book emphasizes the importance of empowering employees in order to increase productivity and creativity. Written in the style of a fable, it is easy to read, in fact, I finished it in one or two evenings. The concepts are essential for today's managers and executives, especially given the present-day employee's ability to find a "better job" at any given moment. It illustrates the relationship employers and employees should have, and the implications of the type of communication which comes along with that relationship. I highly recommend this book to every manager out there who wishes to stay competitive in today's job market, and wants to retain employees while getting fantastic results.
