Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thinking about doing stand-up? I have read through several books on Stand-Up (I am a stand-up wanna be) and found Jay's book to take a different focus than most books. This is a great book that discusses the "performing and the business" of stand-up comedy rather than a "how to be a funny person". It presents a candid look at the real business of stand-up, without any bias, so you can decide for yourself how to perform. Certainly one of the better books on the shelf!
