Rated 5 out of 5 by from Invincible! This case was purchased for my son's iPad 2 years ago and we are still using it. He is autistic and not at all gentle on his toys - iPad included, so it's perfect for him. Sure, it has a rubbery smell at first, but so does a new car, and eventually it fades away. Our case has been chewed on, stepped on, thrown up on, tossed into a water table (case doesn't make it waterproof, just harder to get soaked instantly), smashed...you name it! Between this case, and a 'glass' screen protector, our iPad is pretty much Invincible, and I recommend this case to anyone and everyone with kids !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cute But Not Convienient I bought this case for my son's iPad mini because it seemed to be the best one out there for keeping the tablet safe if dropped and after seeing it, I believe it would do just that. The mini fits snuggly inside the case and cannot be easily removed by small children. However, the rubber material smells awful and after several days the scent had not dissipated. My son also complained that he couldn't comfortably use the tablet while it was charging due to the location of the handle right above the charging slot. There wasn't room for both his hand and the charger at the same time. It was also awkward to hold when using the tablet in portrait orientation.
