Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good Sequel This movie is decent, and if it was a stand alone move by itself, i would of probably given it only a 3/5, but because it follows the iron Man movie franchise, I give it good faith, as I loved the original Iron Man, and this movie does some things right. I think the one thing about this movie that i didn't like was the plot. There was too much randomness going on. The movie is slow to get going, than they have a random scene at a racetrack? The one thing i really liked about the movie was the characters. The writer did a good job developing them, even though it was probably the writer who came up with the plot to, so he has good and bad moments. Robert Downey Jr Once again owns the role he made his own in the original. he adds some depth to the character this movie, and again, is just stellar as Tony Stark. Gwyneth Paltrow is good as Pepper Potts, she gets annoying after a while with all her complaining, but i guess that's the character isn't it? Don Cheadle replaces Terrance Howard in this movie, and i didn't notice the change to much, i like both of them. Cheadle didn't have much screen time in this movie until the end. Mickey Rourke plays the villain, and it looks like he had fun doing it. he has definitely come back as an actor. Sam Rockwell played the co-villain, and he was quite good as well. Scarlett Johansson, Samuel l. Jackson and Clark Gregg round out the cast, and again are all quite good. to be quite honest, that's the strength if this movies is its acting, the weakness, would have to be the plot. If you liked the first Iron Man see this movie, but if you haven't don't bother with this movie.
